Direct Payment Links - Pure Invoices Docs
How to connect Venmo, PayPal, and other platforms to get paid directly.
One of the best features of Pure Invoices is that we never touch your money. You connect your existing payment accounts, and your clients pay you directly.
How it Works
When you add a payment link to your profile, a button appears on the public view of your invoices. When a client clicks it, they are taken directly to your payment page (e.g., your Venmo profile) with your details pre-filled.
Supported Platforms
We currently support “Low-Code” integration for:
- Venmo
- PayPal
- Cash App
- Zelle
- Revolut
Setting up Payment Links
- Go to Settings in your dashboard.
- Scroll down to the Payment Methods section.
- Click “Add Payment Method”.
- Select your provider and paste your personal or business payment URL.
Finding your URLs:
- Venmo: Open the Venmo app -> Tap your Profile picture -> Tap the Share icon (next to your name) -> Tap “Copy Link” (it looks like
venmo.com/u/yourname). - PayPal: Log in to PayPal -> Go to your Profile -> Look for your PayPal.Me link (it looks like
paypal.me/yourname). - Cash App: Open Cash App -> Tap the Profile icon (top right) -> Your link is shown under your name (it looks like
cash.app/$yourname). - Zelle: Open your Banking App -> Find the Zelle section -> Tap “Receive” or “My QR Code” -> Look for a “Share” button to copy your unique payment link.
- Note: If your bank doesn’t provide a link, just put your Zelle email/phone in the Payment Instructions field on your invoice.
- Revolut: Open the Revolut app -> Tap your Profile icon (top left) -> Tap your @Revtag name -> Tap the Share icon -> Copy your payment link (it looks like
revolut.me/yourname).
Why no Credit Cards?
To keep Pure Invoices 100% free (or low-cost) and avoid taking a percentage of your earnings, we prioritize these direct “Peer-to-Peer” platforms.
If you absolutely need to accept Credit Cards, you can paste a Stripe Payment Link into your Payment Instructions field.
